Thavorn Palm Beach Resort Phuket

I think i like the most the pools and water slides that the resort have and the best that you can enjoy all of them with your kids and the distance between of them are close to each other so you don’t have to walk lot of distance in between. Room was ok confortable and with all the amenities you need. Breakfast has plenty of options for everyone. I can tell the best of this resort is the VIP waiting room even if you get to the hotel earlier or you leave the hotel later because of your flight they give you a card for the vip room where you can relax and enjoy coffee, tea, fresh fruits and other treats plus the room is very cool (a/c) specially because of the hot weather outside. Love they have a Coffee Shop where you can buy you favorite coffee drinks and you can charge to the room so you don’t need cash to buy same with the restaurant Ciao. Even though, all the pool areas have their own bar for food and drinks if you don’t want to move around the installations.

I travelled with my 3 teenage children to Phuket for 10 days in July and the Thavorn Palm was a great family resort. We had 2 x pool view rooms that had a nice outlook towards the beach. Highlights included the different pools to choose from, water slides, reasonably priced pool bars, great cocktails, clean property, easy walking distance to restaurants & convenience stores and what was possibly the best coffee I’ve had at a resort. Teen boys loved dinners at Ciao and didn’t want to eat elsewhere. Staff were great and always helpful. Thai massage from the hotel is so well priced and def worth getting.

-Amazing staff and welcoming -Room size and cleaning -Variety in food and prices -Perfect location, beach just across the street and little shops around the area -If you're a family is a perfect vacation for the Kids 'cause you have many options for them to have fun, for couples and romantic gateaway I'd rather choose another place. I went with my mom and was fair enough 'cause we spent most of the time chilling in the pool away from the slides and pool's bar. -Breakfast full of options and tasty! -Our room was far away from the lobby but was a perfect place to not hear anything o anyone (checkin in/out all the time) I've choosen this hotel 'cause was one of the only hotels with good reviews and not many complains BUT I'd agree with some of them regarding the cleaning of the pool (between the tiles greenish fungus) and the poor english knowledge of the staff when it comes to comunication. It was ok to understand eachother but when it comes to explanations or asking for specific things,the misunderstanding was always present. At the moment of the check in we got our room 45mnts after 15.00 and the twin bed wasn't present but the mistake was fixed right away. Great experience after all! I'd recommend it if you want to relax and chill.

Service was excellent, all staff were friendly and very helpful. Location was perfect, not to far from Bangla Road, just a short Tuk Tuk ride. Beach was very clean not like Kata, and some fun size waves for body surfing.

The ambient of hotel is really lovely and exotic with lot of green areas, hotel rooms are clean and specious, the location is very convenient, just opposite to Karon beach (that we find one of the best on Phuket) and just 5 minutes walk from local shops, bars and restaurants. There is a tuk-tuk (taxi) station right in front of the hotel with fixed prices so you can easily explore Phuket (including other nearby beaches, Patong, Phuket city etc.). Swimming pools and restaurants in the hotel are very nice, especially pizzeria Ciao & ice-cream shop. Also, we and our son enjoyed the most mini-zoo with animals, that is really a big joy for the whole family, the lady helping us to feed the animals was so kind and helpful, highly appreciated. Generally, all stuff from the hotel was great (including Ms. Jenie from desk).
